The method comprises the steps as follows: monitoring channel condition of the unauthorized frequency spectrum channel in a monitoring time period, wherein the period for monitoring is a first period; adjusting the period for monitoring to be a second period while monitoring that the unauthorized frequency spectrum channel is in busy state in the continuous N first periods, wherein the first period is longer than the second period, and N is not less than 2 and is an integer. The embodiment of the invention further discloses a detecting device, related equipment and a system. The method of the invention could improve the fairness of accessing the unauthorized frequency spectrum channel and reduce the time delay of data transmission.
