The invention also provides the evaluating method of the organic pollutant adsorbent. The evaluating method includes following steps: processing the adsorbent through a density classification method and a repeatedly acid pickling method to obtain light components, heavy components and carbon-based components in the adsorbent; and carrying out an adsorption experiment to a representative soil organic pollutant, with the crop straws which is used for preparing the adsorbent and the prepared adsorbent together, according to a batch equilibrium method for calculating an equilibrium concentration of the organic pollutant on the adsorbent, thereby obtaining an adsorption isotherm of the adsorbent to the organic pollutant.
