The invention discloses a mechanical lubricant which is characterized by being prepared from the following substances in parts by weight: 14-23 parts of nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, 8-13 parts of coconut diethanolamide, 2-5 parts of sodium xylene sulfonate, 1-3 parts of magnesium chloride, 8-14 parts of cupper oxide, 7-13 parts of zinc oxide, 3-7 parts of zinc sulfate, 5-7 parts of magnesium sulfate, 2-6 parts of silver sulfate, 1-2 part of diatomite, 5-10 parts of sodium borate, 12-20 parts of nano organic montmorillonite, 1 part of mica powder having a lamellar structure and 1-2 parts of hollow glass beads. The mechanical lubricant disclosed by the invention can inhibit rusting of a mechanical part with a gel-like thin film on the surface; when the mechanical lubricant is applied to the sliding mechanical part, even if no lubricating oil is used, good sliding can be maintained for a long time by periodical coating.
