Abstract

The saturated core type superconductive current limiter comprises iron cores arranged in an outer shell, alternating current windings and a superconductive direct current winding wrapped in a Dewar bottle with the liquid nitrogen, and is characterized in that an air outlet pipe is arranged on the Dewar bottle to be communicated to a heater outside the outer shell, the heater is provided with an air inlet pipe which is communicated to the interior of the outer shell, and an air outlet is further formed in the outer shell. According to the saturated core type superconductive current limiter, the nitrogen discharged out from the Dewar bottle can be recycled through the additionally-arranged air outlet pipe and heated to be discharged into the outer shell for use to enable the pressure inside the outer shell to be higher than the environment pressure, and environment moisture is prevented from permeating into the outer shell; meanwhile, moisture in the outer shell is discharged out of the outer shell through the nitrogen, a dry operation environment is provided for the saturated core type superconductive current limiter, and therefore the problem that insulation resistance is reduced is solved.
