The invention discloses a transformer having the fast cooling function. A cooling device for cooling insulating oil in an oil tank is arranged on the outer side wall of the oil tank. The cooling device comprises a cooling liquid inlet pipe and a cooling liquid outlet pipe, wherein the cooling liquid inlet pipe is arranged on the upper portion, the cooling liquid outlet pipe is arranged on the lower portion, and the cooling liquid inlet pipe and the cooling liquid outlet pipe are arranged in parallel in the horizontal direction. Cooling pipes arranged in line are arranged between the cooling liquid inlet pipe and the cooling liquid outlet pipe in the vertical direction. The cooling pipes are sleeved with heat dissipating pipes arranged on the outer wall of the oil tank respectively. The two ends of each heat dissipating pipe are communicated with and connected with the oil tank. A water collecting tank used for collecting rainwater is arranged on the top of the oil tank. A water tank is arranged beside the oil tank. The water collecting tank is communicated with and connected with the water tank through a water pipe.
