Problems solved by technology

[0009] Considering that there are likely to be many terminals under a mobile relay station, and each terminal must perform a location update at almost the same time, it will cause a huge signaling burden on the air interface in a short time, which will affect normal voice and data. Communication
The mobile relay station itself may be moving at high speed, so it will enter the cell coverage of another base station in a short period of time, and the above-mentioned large number of terminals repeatedly perform location updates at the same time, resulting in excessive signaling load

Embodiment Construction

[0046]In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention more clear, the embodiments of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Here, the exemplary embodiments and descriptions of the present invention are used to explain the present invention, but not to limit the present invention.

[0047] figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of a network scenario involved in an embodiment of the present invention. Such as figure 1 As shown, the MME is the control network element responsible for initiating paging for the terminal in the network, and the existing control interface between the MME and the eNB is S1-MME. In order to meet the backward compatibility for LTE (Long Term Evolution, Long Term Evolution) terminals, the interface between the base station and the terminal in the original LTE network, that is, the Uu interface, can be reused between the relay ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a paging method which is capable of reducing paging signaling overheads of a system and saving paging resources of the system. The method comprises the steps that a base station receives paging information, wherein tracking area identification is contained in the paging information; the base station pages a terminal if the tracking area identification in the paging information is the track area identification of the base station; the base station instructs a relay station to page the terminal if the tracking area identification in the paging information is the track area identification of the relay station administered by the base station. The invention further discloses a location updating method which is capable of reducing signaling loads caused by location updating. The location updating method comprises the steps that the relay station generates system information, wherein the system information comprises the track area identification of the relay station; the relay station broadcasts the system information and triggers a terminal entering a cell administered by the relay station to send an updating request. The invention further discloses a base station, a relay station, a communication system and a movable management entity.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a paging method, a location update method and equipment. Background technique [0002] In 2006, ITU-R (ITU-Radiocommunication Sector, ITU Radiocommunication Sector) officially named B3G (Beyond3G, fourth-generation mobile communication) technology as IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunications-Advanced, International Mobile Communications Advanced System) technology . On the one hand, IMT-Advanced puts forward very high requirements on the system capacity; on the other hand, the large-bandwidth spectrum that can support such a high capacity can only be found in higher frequency bands, and the path loss and penetration loss of such high frequency bands are relatively low. Large and difficult to achieve good coverage. In order to meet the capacity requirements of IMT-Advanced, the LTE-Advanced system proposed by 3GPP (3rd Generation Mobile Group, 3rd Generation P...
