Problems solved by technology

In order to identify the peripherals associated with it, it is necessary to add packet header information to indicate the peripherals that this data packet matches and read each data packet in real time, which not only slows down the speed, but also increases the complexity of transmission;
[0008] c. Too many layers of the protocol stack are required, and each layer of processing needs to consume hardware and software resources, so it will cause serious bandwidth loss, which is not conducive to the performance advantages of high-speed USB peripherals

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for simply and wirelessly matching a computer and a remote USB (universal serial bus) peripheral. The method comprises the following steps of (1) establishing a wireless protocol simple bridging physical structure: respectively connecting a pair of wireless transmitter and wireless receiver onto a computer USB port and a USB port of a remote USB peripheral; (2) realizing the data transmission and receiving between the computer and the computer remote USB peripheral on the basis of a transmission protocol stack comprising a computer application layer, a device drive layer, a USB protocol layer and the remote USB peripheral. In the method, the wireless receiver-transmitter is only used as a relay, so that the peripheral is equivalent to the wireless peripheral device of the computer; all USB signaling and data are carried by the wireless protocol, the data relay is transparent through the matching conversion of a USB logic passage and a wireless logic passage, and all signaling and data can be nondestructively and directly transmitted through the wireless protocol. By adopting the method, few protocol stack layers are needed, the communication protocol is simplified, and the high-speed wireless transmission between the computer and the remote USB peripheral can be realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless transmission between computers and peripheral devices, in particular to a simple wireless adaptation method for computers and remote USB peripherals. Background technique [0002] Mainstream PCs are basically equipped with USB functions. PC motherboards can usually provide 2 to 8 USB ports. USB ports have become a necessary interface in personal computers. In most versions of WINDOWS operating systems, USB devices do not need to install drivers (except Windows 98), and have a real "plug and play" feature, which is flexible and convenient to use. [0003] The standard USB peripheral transmission protocol stack is attached figure 1 shown. The transmission process is: PC application layer (Apps) à computer peripheral device driver (Device Driver) à USB protocol layer à PC USB hardware. The specific data flow is attached figure 2 shown. [0004] How to realize high-speed wireless communication ...
