Abstract

The invention relates to an explosive driven piston type micro actuator which comprises a semiconductor bridge ignition component, electrothermal sensitive ignition gunpowder, a step-like piston and a tube shell. The piston micro actuator is an explosive actuation device and is also an acting initiator; the ignition component is assembled at one end of the tube shell and is connected with the tube shell in a sealed manner; the electrothermal sensitive ignition gunpowder fills in a piston cylindrical gunpowder chamber; the piston is arranged in the tube shell in an interference fit manner. During working, the ignition component ignites the electrothermal sensitive ignition gunpowder to produce a large amount of gas which pushes the piston to generate reliable thrust within short time. The piston type micro actuator can be used as a micro electro mechanical system arming device, has the characteristics of small size, low ignition energy, electromagnetic environment resistance and the like and has a good application prospect.
