The precoated sand comprises crude sand, an adhesive, a curing agent and a lubricating agent, and is characterized by further comprising microcrystalline wax with the weight content of 0.1-0.3%. Compared with the conventional precoated sand, the precoated sand has the advantages that a certain amount of microcrystalline wax is added into the precoated sand; the melting point of the microcrystalline wax is about 65-90 DEG C which is consistent with that of the core making nozzle, so that the microcrystalline wax is melted at the core making temperature, and the fluidity of the precoated sand is greatly reduced; furthermore, the microcrystalline wax is volatilized in the core making process, so that side effects are not caused for the later pouring, and the problem of sand leakage of the nozzle caused by the high fluidity of the precoated sand can be further solved.
