The method for microbial pest control based on light luring includes the steps: luring and gathering target pests by a light source or frequency spectrum waves; applying entomopathogenic microorganisms with selective toxicity to the target pests at fixed points; enabling the target pests to carry the entomopathogenic microorganisms. The device for microbial pest control comprises a solar panel, an automatic powder sprayer, a trap lamp tube, a storage battery and a support, wherein the solar panel is fixed to the top end of the support, the automatic powder sprayer is suspended at the top end of the support, and the trap lamp tube is mounted at the center under the automatic powder sprayer. Powder spraying aerosol is mounted in the automatic powder sprayer and contains propellants and particle powder containing microbial pesticides.
