The insecticide composition comprises the following effective active ingredients: a first active ingredient, namely, pyriminostrobin, and a second active ingredient, namely, spirodiclofen, spiromesifen or spirotetramat which is selected from tetronic acid insecticides, wherein the weight ratio of the first active ingredient to the second active ingredient is (1:10)-(10:1). The composition can be prepared into agriculturally allowable suspending agents, wettable powder, water dispersible granules or dispersible oil suspending agents. The insecticide composition is reasonable in ingredient and good in insecticide effect; the activity and the insecticide effect are not just combination of the activities of the ingredients; compared with the conventional single preparation, in addition to the remarkable insecticide effect, the insecticide composition has the remarkable multiplying effect, and is good in crop security.
