Embodiment

[0022] Embodiment: a kind of method utilizing printing and dyeing sludge to manufacture activated carbon comprises the following steps:

[0023] a. Pyrolysis process: the sludge is dried first, and the water content is controlled between 10-20%; the material is automatically fed into the continuous pyrolysis furnace, and it is pyrolyzed at a low temperature in the state of being isolated from the air, and the temperature of the material is controlled at 500-550°C , the residence time is 0.5-1hr; the generated pyrolysis gas is purified and used as a heat source for sludge drying; the fixed carbon compound is discharged after being cooled by jacket water, and the temperature of the material is controlled to be lower than 150-190°C;

[0024] b. Oxidative pickling process: prepare a mixed aqueous solution of potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate 0.1-0.2mol / L, sulfuric acid 1-1.8mol / L; then soak and fix carbon compound at a solid-liquid ratio of 1:2-2.5 T...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for making active carbon by utilizing dyeing sludge. The method comprises the following steps of: a, a pyrolyzing process: drying the sludge and pyrolyzing at the low temperature under the isolated air state; b, an oxidation pickling process; preparing a mixed aqueous solution mixture of potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid, wherein the potassium permanganate is 0.1mol / L-0.2mol / L, and the sulfuric acid is 1mol / L-1.8mol / L; soaking fixed carbon compound in a solid-liquid ratio of 1:(2-2.5), using the filtrate as aluminum ferric sulfate composite type purifying agent after removing heavy metal impurities; and drying the filter residue. According to the method for making active carbon by utilizing dyeing sludge disclosed by the invention, the sludge is used as the material to make the active carbon with low manufacturing cost and high carbon content through a pyrolyzing-oxidation pickling combination process. Moreover, the production process is almost free of pollution to the environment.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for producing activated carbon from printing and dyeing sludge. Background technique [0002] Activated carbon is a form of carbon, a comprehensive name for carbon with a porous structure, and its specific surface area is 300-2500m 2 / g. Appearance is black hollow powder or granules. Its apparent density varies with raw materials and manufacturing methods, and its chemical composition is also different. In addition to carbon, there are certain amounts of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and ash. [0003] All activated carbons have a porous structure, and a large number of tiny pores constitute a large specific surface area, which endows activated carbon with excellent adsorption capacity and has high application value. [0004] Activated carbon is widely used in drinking water purification, advanced wastewater treatment, air purification, flue gas desulfurization, and sugar decolorization. In medicine, it is u...
