Problems solved by technology

[0005] Although based on this definition, there are many evaluation standards and corresponding methods, but the variety of 3D models makes it difficult to have a general evaluation standard applicable to all types of 3D models.
In addition, these methods do not consider the ability to distinguish models visually. However, similar 3D models also have geometric changes, so it is difficult to ensure that similar models have optimal views similar to human senses. Therefore, these methods are not suitable for Efficient browsing of 3D datasets

Embodiment

[0109] In this example, if figure 2 Shown is the input three-dimensional model set, through the automatic selection method of the optimal view of the three-dimensional model described in the present invention, can obtain figure 2 Each 3D model in eg. The specific implementation process is as follows:

[0110] In step 1, after the 3D model undergoes the attitude correction process and the scale normalization process, the category of the 3D model without a category label is determined, and a corresponding category label is added.

[0111] In step 2, the 3D model view sampling process generates polyhedrons surrounding the model, with vertices as viewpoints, such as Figure 3a As shown, the projection of the 3D model is obtained at each viewpoint, and multiple 2D views of the 3D model are obtained, such as Figure 3b shown, and then extracted through the view feature extraction process Figure 3b The features of each two-dimensional view in , and then cluster the view featur...

Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic selecting method of a three-dimensional model optimal view. The automatic selecting method comprises the following steps of three-dimensional model set preprocessing, candidate view selection, and view evaluation. In the three-dimensional model set preprocessing, each three-dimensional model in a three-dimensional module set which is input is pre-processed so that the types of all three-dimensional models can be obtained, the process of three-dimensional model set preprocessing includes the steps of gesture correction, size scale normalization and three-dimensional model type judgment, and a type identification is set on each three-dimensional model in the three-dimensional model set. In candidate view selection, each view of the three-dimensional model is sampled, features and clusters are extracted so that a set of candidate views of the three-dimensional models can be obtained, and the process of the candidate view selection comprises the steps of three-dimensional view sampling, view feature extracting and view clustering. In view evaluation, the candidate views of the three-dimensional models are sorted, the view which is near the front is selected as an optimal view, and the process of view evaluation comprises the steps of distance computing and optimal view studying. The automatic selecting method is suitable for multiple types of three-dimensional models, and the obtained optimal view of the three-dimensional models with the same type has high posture consistency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a processing method for shape analysis of computer graphics, which belongs to the technical field of computer graphics, in particular to a method for automatically selecting the optimal view of a three-dimensional model. Background technique [0002] The development of computer technology has made 3D models widely used in computer-aided design, digital entertainment, medicine and many other fields. In order to effectively use the resulting large number of 3D models, efficient browsing and cognitive means are needed. According to imaging principles and visual computing theory, a 3D model needs to be mapped to a 2D view before it can be browsed and recognized by humans. Human cognition of objects depends on the position of the viewpoint, and the two-dimensional view that enables humans to best recognize and understand the three-dimensional model is called the best view of the three-dimensional model. During the browsing process ...
