Abstract

Hydrophilic polyamine polymers are loaded on silica particles above a millimeter grade covalently; the water treatment agent is obtained, wherein polyamine is cationic, and can capture anionic dyes in water efficiently; and the silica particles provide very large surface area, and can filter and remove the dyes from the water conveniently. A pH (potential of hydrogen) range of the water treatment agent is acid, neutral and alkalescent. When an adsorbing agent wrapped with the dyes is treated by strong alkali, most dyes can be released partially, some dyes can be released wholly, so that the water treatment agent can be reused. The water treatment agent is mainly suitable for treating the wastewater containing the anionic dyes. The water treatment agent is simple in synthetic process, and high in productivity, and can be stored for a long term under the nitrogen atmosphere; and the property of the water treatment agent is reduced slightly after the water treatment agent is stored under a common air condition for months.
