Abstract

The invention provides an electric connector which comprises an insulating body, conductive terminals and fixing parts. The conducting terminals are fixed onto the insulating body, the insulating body is provided with holding cavities, each conducting terminal is provided with contact portions convexly extending into the corresponding holding cavities and welding pins extending out of the insulating body, each fixing part is provided with a fixing plate and a soldering lug, the fixing plates are fixed onto the insulating body, and each soldering lug extends out of the insulating body from the corresponding fixing plate in a bent manner to be welded on a circuit mainboard. Each soldering lug consists of an oblique portion and a horizontal portion, each oblique portion obliquely extends from the corresponding fixing plate, and each horizontal portion horizontally extends from the corresponding oblique portion to one end far away from the corresponding fixing plate. Soldering tin paste can ascend along lower surfaces of the oblique portions owing to the oblique portions when the soldering lugs are welded, namely, space for the tin paste to ascend is provided between the lower surfaces of the oblique portions and the circuit mainboard, and the problem that an existing electric connector is integrally lifted up due to tin accumulation on lower sides of soldering lugs is solved.
