The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: performing database matching analysis on telephone numbers and related information thereof in the mobile terminal, and judging whether the telephone numbers are the numbers of merchants; and generating the merchant list in the mobile terminal, and adding the telephone numbers which are taken as the numbers of the merchants as merchant items into the merchant list. Correspondingly, the invention further provides equipment for generating the merchant list on the mobile terminal.
