Abstract

In the invention, element materials Zn, Al, Sn, Bi, Sb, Fe, Si, Pb and Cu are cast into a blank firstly, and then the blank is annealed to finally obtain the environmentally-friendly copper material. The weight percents of the element materials are as follows: 32-38% of Zn, 0.1-0.6% of Al, 0.1-1.2% of Sn, 0.6-1.2% of Bi, not more than 0.05% of Sb, not more than 0.5% of Fe, not more than0.25% of Si, less than 0.1% of Pb and the balance of Cu; and the annealing temperature is 300-500 DEG C. By the invention, the problem of lead content of the traditional copper material used in water and heating fittings is solved; at room temperature, Bi (bismuth) which is a substitute for lead does not react with oxygen or water and has stable chemical properties. By using the environmentally-friendly copper material, damage of lead dissolved out from a copper alloy material used in water and heating fittings to a human body can be reduced; meanwhile, the environmentally-friendly copper material has excellent cutting property, and products made of the environmentally-friendly copper material do not crack easily and are easy for processing.
