Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, there are still some problems in the application of polypropylene mesh: first, when it is used for the repair of full-thickness abdominal wall defects, the mesh should be isolated from visceral tissue, and if it directly contacts with internal organs, it may cause serious abdominal adhesions. Gastrointestinal obstruction, which may even erode the intestinal wall, causing intestinal fistula, causing pain to the patient and even requiring a second operation
[0007] Expanded Polytetrafluoroethylene anti-adhesion patch (Expanded Polytetrafluoroethylenepatch, e-PTFE): This patch is softer than the tension-free polypropylene patch, and it is less likely to form adhesions when in contact with abdominal organs, and the inflammatory response caused by it is also the lightest; but Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene has no supporting force, and the damaged part of the abdominal wall is more prone to secondary recurrence
Expanded PTFE anti-adhesion patch allows bacteria to pass through, but phagocytic cells cannot pass through, and tissue cannot grow in, so it cannot tolerate infection and pollution, and cannot be used for contaminated wounds. Once the patch is infected, the patch must be removed, otherwise the wound will hard to heal

Embodiment Construction

[0026] Refer to attached figure 1 , 2 The composite anti-adhesion hernia repair patch comprises a polypropylene patch 2 and an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene anti-adhesion patch 1, and the polypropylene patch 2 and the expanded polytetrafluoroethylene anti-adhesion patch 2 adopt expanded polytetrafluoroethylene stitched together.

[0027] The polypropylene patch 2 adopts a tension-free polypropylene patch, which is a mesh braid (commercially available).

[0028] The expanded polytetrafluoroethylene anti-adhesion patch 1 is a film structure (commercially available).

[0029] The material thickness of the polypropylene patch 2 is 0.1 mm to 1 mm, and the weight is 12.5 g to 125 g per square meter.

[0030] The material thickness of the expanded polytetrafluoroethylene anti-adhesion patch 1 is 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm.

[0031] The method of making composite anti-adhesion hernia repair sheet is as follows:

[0032] 1. The polypropylene mesh fabric is cut into a polypropylene patch...

Abstract

The invention relates a compound anti-blocking herniorrhaphy patch and a preparation method thereof, clinically belonging to herniorrhaphy implant medical appliances for abdominal wall defects and preparation methods thereof. The compound anti-blocking herniorrhaphy patch comprises a polypropylene patch and a puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking patch, wherein the polypropylene patch and the puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking patch are sewn into a whole by using puffed polytetrafluoroethylene. The preparation method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: (1) cutting a polypropylene reticular braided fabric in an ultrasonic or hot melting mode, or directly cutting the polypropylene reticular braided fabric into a polypropylene patch in a predetermined shape by using laser light; (2) cutting a puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking film in an ultrasonic mode, or directly cutting the puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking film into a puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking patch in a predetermined shape by using laser light; and (3) sewing the cut polypropylene patch and puffed polytetrafluoroethylene anti-blocking patch into a whole by using the puffed polytetrafluoroethylene, thereby obtaining the compound anti-blocking herniorrhaphy patch.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a composite anti-adhesion hernia repair sheet and a manufacturing method thereof, which clinically belong to the hernia repairing implant medical device for abdominal wall defect and a manufacturing method thereof. Background technique [0002] A hernia is a rupture or weakening of the abdominal wall supporting the organs, which makes the abdominal organs protrude to the body surface through the rupture or weakening part, forming a local mass. The current method of repairing hernia clinically is to open an opening at the site where the hernia occurs, push the organs squeezed into the site back into the abdominal cavity, and then insert a biocompatible material: a mesh made of polypropylene. A braided repair instrument (polypropylene patch) is placed in the opening and held in place by suturing or otherwise, and the opening is then closed. The advantage of this method is that if done properly, the tissue near the opening underg...
