The invention discloses a method for monitoring the data consistency between a plurality of databases, which comprises the following steps of: receiving verification request information submitted for the data consistency of a service data between the plurality of databases, wherein the request information comprises a service type identifier of the service data and the key field information for the association of the service data between the plurality of databases; reading the configuration information corresponding to the service type identifier according to the request information, wherein the configuration information comprises a data processing rule for the service type and accessed database information; acquiring the corresponding service data from the database accessed by the present service according to the key field information; and verifying whether the service meets a consistency requirement or not according to the data processing rule forthe present service and obtaining a verification result. The invention provides a mechanism which can monitor the data consistency between the plurality of databases without labor resources, effectively save cost and improve monitoring efficiency.
