Abstract

The invention relates to a novel process for cleaning ice or snow covering a transmission line and a laser de-icing machine. In the process, a high-power laser is adopted to lead the laser to irradiate an iron tower and a cable, the intense laser radiation heating is used to lead part of the ice and snow covering connection transmission line to be molten, and the rest of ice and snow fall onto the ground. The laser de-icing machine consists of a power generator, a laser, a reflective mirror, a high-power collimation mirror and a fine regulating device which links the reflective mirror and the collimation mirror, wherein the power generator is connected with the laser through a cable; the laser and a transmitting frame are arranged on a base; an angle regulating device is fixed on the transmitting frame; and the angle regulating device can regulate the collimation mirror and the reflective mirror through linkage. The novel process has the advantages of high speed for cleaning the ice and snow covering the high-voltage transmission line, labor-saving performance and good security.
