Abstract

The invention discloses a cyanobacteria bloom control method based on the cultivation of floating rice. Rice sprouts at 5-trifoliate stage are fixed on a polystyrene foam board by a sponge, then the polystyrene foam board floats on a water body which needs to be controlled for cultivation, rice is duly harvested, and the polystyrene foam board is recovered. The cyanobacteria bloom control method can effectively control water bloom in lakes; and the cyanobacteria bloom control method is applied to ensure that the count of blue-green algae cells in eutrophic water bodies of the lakes is decreased to less than 1,000 ml<-1> within ten days in summer, thereby apparently improving the water quality of the eutrophic water bodies.
