The invention relates to a preparation method for instant Tuckahoe granules, including the following procedures: raw materials of Tuckahoe is selected and screened to be ground to be 80 to 200 mesh of fine powder; 6 to 10 times of water is added to mix up and Alpha-high-temperature amylase is added and mixed up; the temperature is heated up to 50 to 85 DEG C for hydrolysis and the temperature is preserved for half to one hour and then is heated up again until boiling, and slight boiling is kept for 2 to 4 hours; after filtered, dry powder is produced by adding maltodextrin, lactose and tragantine as auxiliary materials after spray drying, and then granules is produced; after packaging, the product is produced to be finished instant tuckahoe granules; the product comprises the following components: 100 parts by weight of tuckahoe, 0.1 to 0.4 parts by weight of the Alpha-high-temperature amylase, 10 to 50 parts by weight of a maltodextrin and 10 to 50 parts by weight of a tragantine. The method has the advantages that the product of instant tuckahoe granules (tuckahoe tea) is with good water solubility, high consistency of active ingredients, high medicinal materials, good mouthfeel, convenient way of use, and so on.
