Abstract

The present invention provides a method of activating MBMS, for realizing MBMS of appointed evolution base station. The method includes following steps: determining the object evolution base station; judging whether the object evolution base station transmitting MBMS or not; when the object evolution base station being not transmit MBMS, transmitting the first information for adding object evolution base station in the content distribution tree and transmitting radio resource distribution information to the object evolution base station by the MCE. The invention also provides an user equipment, an evolution base station, a MCE and a communication system.
