Abstract

The method includes steps: generating a frequency domain complex random sequence (FDCRS) in transmitting set; using IFFT converts FDCRS into time domain frame synchronizing sequence (TDFSS); TDFSS is inserted into transmitted frame and sent to the receiving device; in the receiving device, FFT converts the received TDFSS to frequency domain sequence (FDS); IFFT converts FDS to channel impulse response (CIR); selecting effective path in channel based on ratio between maximum value of power of CIR and threshold of preset effective path. Using obtained effective path in channel calculates error of frame synchronization in order to implement synchronized tracking and calculate adaptation function of channel multipath type in order to determine channel type. In the method, bandwidth of frame-synchronized sequence is smaller than sampling rate of system; and the method implements frame-synchronized tracking and estimating channel type by paying lower complexity of implementation.
