Water trampoline

A water trampoline includes an air cushion having predetermined size and buoyancy; a supporting ring detachably connected to a top surface of the air cushion, and including a lower ring having a diameter corresponding to that of the top surface of the air cushion, and an upper ring located above the lower ring by a predetermined height; and a jumping bed tightly stretched over the upper ring by a plurality of radially extended elastic elements. The jumping bed is located above the air cushion instead of in a central open space thereof, and therefore has effectively increased surface area and largely enhanced bearing strength to enable safer and more durable use of the water trampoline.

Weather and protective cover for a trampoline

A protective cover for a trampoline assembly that includes an attached safety enclosure has a plurality of edge cuts out coinciding with the connections of the bottom of the safety enclosure netting to the portions of the trampoline disposed with the diameter of the supporting frame. Elastic connecting members are provided at the intersection of each cutout with the periphery of the circular cover so that it is fastened to protect the trampoline frame and rebounding mat. The protective cover can be installed and removed with removing the safety enclosure.

Method and apparatus for calibration of a motion sensing device in a portable apparatus

A method and apparatus for calibrating a motion sensing device in a portable apparatus includes sampling an output of a secondary motion sensing device and determining if the output of the secondary motion sensing device is indicative of a stationary portable apparatus. If the output of the secondary motion sensing device is indicative of a stationary portable apparatus, a bias offset of a primary motion sensing device is determined from an output of the primary motion sensing device. The output of the primary motion sensing device is adjusted to remove the effects of the bias offset.

Recreational structure using a sleeve-joint coupling

A recreational structure, such as a trampoline frame, can be quickly and reliably assembled using a sleeve-joint coupling having a “T” configuration. A first arm member and an aperture that is formed in the sleeve-joint coupling are disposed in an opposite relationship. A second arm member and a third arm member are disposed in an opposite relationship with each other. The first arm member receives one end of a vertical frame member of the recreational structure, while the aperture receives one end of a vertical pole member of, for example, a safety enclosure. The second and third arm members each receive one end of a horizontal frame member of the recreational structure. The vertical pole member extends through the sleeve-joint coupling into an inner portion of the vertical frame member received by the first arm of the sleeve-joint coupling.
