Car seat insert with elastic under-body panel

An insert for positioning an infant in a car seat. The insert includes a head support section to support the baby's head on both sides. Connected to the head support section is a body support section with elongate side members connected by an elastic under-body support panel extending therebetween. This panel can be sewn to the side members or, even more preferably, can be attached by tubular sleeves that are slidably received on the side members of the body support section. In this way, the position of the panel can be adjusted along the length of the insert. Additionally, by rotating the side members, or the sleeves on the side members, the tension on the panel can be adjusted to increase or decease the tension, as desired, to create a swaddling effect under the infant. Alternately, the insert serves as an infant swing or carrier.

Bidirectional Communication between an Infant Receiving System and a Remote Device

An infant device, such as in infant swing, establishes a wireless connection with a parent's existing portable electronic device, such as a smartphone. The portable electronic device sends messages to control any of the functions associated with the infant device. The portable electronic device also sends video and voice to be output at the infant device, allowing the child to remotely see and hear the parent's face and voice. The infant device sends messages with status information on the system enabling the portable electronic device to remotely monitor the system. The infant device also sends messages to the parent's existing portable electronic device containing audio and / or video information recorded from the child, allowing the parent to remotely see and hear the child in the system.

Head support and seat pad assembly for a child seat

A seat pad assembly is disclosed including a body pad for placement on the seating surface of a child seating device. The body pad has a front side, a back side, and two spaced apart vertical slots through the pad. The seat pad assembly has a head support with a connecting strip extending between a pair of laterally spaced apart cushions. The head support is generally H-shaped and installed on the pad through the slots with the pair of cushions on one side of the pad and the connecting strip on the other side. The head support is slidable along the slots to adjust the vertical position of the cushions. The seat pad assembly can be used on a child seating device such as a children's car seat, an infant carrier, a stroller, an infant swing, or the like.

Lift Off Child Swing with Recline and Swivel

An infant swing has a base member supported by hanger members for reciprocal movement. A seat that can be utilized in other applications is detachably mounted on and latched to the base member, which is formed with a swivel mechanism that allows the seat to be selectively positioned in a back-and-forth swing configuration or a sideways swing configuration. The swivel mechanism utilizes a triangular guide that engages an elliptical retainer to cause a lateral shift in the center of gravity of the seat when re-positioned. The base member also incorporates a recline mechanism that can be actuated with one hand. The recline actuation mechanism uses a self-centering push bar that is formed with protrusions engaged with slotted channels to lock the seat in a selected recline position. The push bar is operable to either transverse direction to release the protrusions from the slotted channels for selecting the new recline position.

Handle for Infant Carrier

An infant swing has a base member supported by hanger members for reciprocal movement. The base member is formed with an upwardly extending mounting protrusion that nests into a mating receiver structure formed on the bottom of the seat carrier. A latch mechanism carried by the seat carrier is selectively operable to disengage a pivoted, spring-loaded latch member mounted on the base member mounting protrusion. The seat carrier is formed with a pivoted lift handle that provides a dual lift function, including the normal lift function associated with the lift handle being raised into the upright operative position. The lift handle is formed with grip openings adjacent the pivot connection of the lift handle such that the grip handles are rotated for access when the lift handle is lowered to the folded position to enable the seat carrier to be lifted by grasping the two transversely spaced grip openings.

Kozy baby

An efficient way to cool or warm the body of children while using a car seat, stroller, or baby swing when the surrounding temperature is not comfortable. It is body pillow that is shaped to fit into the car seat, stroller, or baby swing that has three rectangular pockets located on the back of it. These pockets are where cooling / warming material, also known as the non-toxic gel pack, is inserted. The body of the child will lye against this pillow with the cooling / warming material, also known as the non-toxic gel pack, inserted into the pockets, while properly seated in the car seat, stroller or baby swing. With the use of this invention, the child's body will be quickly cooled or warmed. Neck support is also provided with the use of an additional pillow if needed for smaller children.

Infant Swing Apparatus and Method of Operating the Same

An infant swing is provided with a swing lock that can desirably block oscillating motion of the seat portion. The infant swing comprises a support frame and that has front and rear leg frames defining two lateral sides and respectively coupled with at least a hinge structure. At least one of the two lateral sides includes a swing arm pivotally coupled with the support frame via a pivot assembly. The swing lock is movably mounted with the pivot assembly, which includes a coupling hub provided with first and second engaging portions. The swing lock includes a latch bolt having a key movable relative to the coupling hub. When the key of the latch bolt engages with the second engaging portion, a distal end of the latch bolt is engaged through the hinge structure for locking rotation of the swing arm relative to the support frame.

Lift off child swing with recline and swivel

The invention relates to an infant swing with recline and swivel function. Said infant swing has a base member supported by hanger members for reciprocal movement. A seat carrier with a plurality of use can be mounted and fixed on the base member, the base member is formed with a swiveling device that the seat carrier can be positioned in pre-post swing method or side swing method selectively. When the seat carrier is re-positioned, the swiveling device makes the seat carrier barycenter lateral movement by using an ellipse positioner coordination with a triangle guider. The base member has a reclining device actuated by one hand. The reclining actuating device uses a groove clamping a pushing rod with a protrusion for latching the seat carrier in selected reclining position, the pusing rod can be operated transversely to make the protrusion deviating from the groove, accordingly, the seat carrier can select a new reclining position.
