Embodiment 1-1

[0028] Tables 1 and 2 below provide exemplary components of powdered and fluid milk-based, and dry and fluid soy-based infant food products according to the present invention.

[0029] Baby food I (milk based)

[0030] This baby food contains the following ingredients: lactose, vegetable oil, skimmed milk powder, whey protein concentrate, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, chloride, iron, magnesium, taurine, vitamins, and phospholipids.

Embodiment 2-1

[0172] Soybean lecithin (50 g; product name Epikuron 135; Lucas Meyer GmbH, Germany) and soybean oil (10 g) were charged into a 300-ml vial, and ethyl acetate (50 ml) was added for dissolution. To the resulting solution was added a 0.30 g / ml L-serine solution (20 ml) dissolved in 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.0, and mixed thoroughly. 500 U / ml of phospholipase-D solution from cabbage was added to the mixed solution, and reacted at 25°C for 5 hours under the agitation of a stirrer.

[0173] To inactivate the enzyme in the reaction solution, the vial containing the reaction solution was immersed in hot water. Subsequently, the reaction solution was cooled on ice and treated with chloroform. The chloroform layer was collected under reduced pressure and dried.

Embodiment 2-2

[0175] Using egg yolk lecithin (product name DS-PL95E; produced by Doosan Corp. Venture BG Biotech BU., Korea) as a substrate, rearranged phosphatidylserine was produced in the same manner as in Example 1-1.

Abstract

The present invention relates to pharmaceutical or nutritional or food compostion for feeding infants, which is more similar to human milk in a powder or fluid form, having an effect of addresseing the shortcomings of the presently known infant formulas by the inclusion of a phospholipid supplement which contains phosphatidylserine or salts thereof as one of the effective ingredients and comprising at least 1% (w / w) phosphatidyserine out of the total phospholipid content of the composition, wherein the phosphatidylserine has a structural fatty acid chain derived from at least one raw material lecithin selected from the group consisting of soy bean lecithin, rapeseed lecithin, or egg yolk lecithin, and which is produced by reaction with phospholipase-D.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a baby food added with glycerophosphate (hereinafter referred to as phospholipid), more particularly, to a baby food added with phosphatidylserine. Background technique [0002] Breastfeeding, the natural form of breastfeeding, has several beneficial effects on infants and is known to be the best diet for infants' nutritional needs. [0003] Jensen RG. (Texbook of Gastroenterology and Nutrition in Infancy, Second Edition, edited by E. Lebenthal, Raven Publishing Ltd., pp. 157-208, New York, 1989) reviews Measurement of total lipid content in human milk and reports that phospholipids are found at levels of about 20 to 40 mg / dl in human milk. [0004] G.Harzer et al. reported that the phospholipid composition (weight % of total phospholipids) of postpartum 36 days human milk lipid was, phosphatidylcholine (PC) 24.9%, phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) 27.7%, phosphatidylserine (PS ) 9.3%, phosphatidylinositol (PI) 5.4%, sphi...
