Embodiment Construction

[0028] Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be described.

[0029] figure 1 A portable input device as a first embodiment of the input device having an electrostatic sensor according to the present invention is shown.

[0030] Such as figure 1 As shown, the portable input device outputs a clock signal serving as a driving wave from a clock signal generation unit 2 in a built-in microcomputer 1 as one input signal of an AND circuit 3 of an AND unit. On the input side of the AND circuit 3, a delay unit 6 composed of a resistor 4 and an electrostatic sensor 5 connected in series from the clock signal generating unit 2 side is connected. In this delay unit 6 , a delay signal that gives rise delay to the clock signal is output as another input signal of the AND circuit 3 based on the electrostatic capacitance detected when the human body approaches or touches the electrostatic sensor 4 . On the output side of the AND circuit 3, a resistor 8 and a capacitor 9 are...

Abstract

An input apparatus having a reduced-size electrostatic sensor that can precisely detect an input and then output a signal and, thus, has excellent responsiveness and reliability comprises the following: clock signal generating means (2) for generating clock signals; delaying means (6) for generating delayed signals by delaying the signal rise time of the clock signal according to the capacitance detected when a human appendage approaches or contacts an electrostatic sensor (5); AND means (3) for receiving the clock signal and the delayed signal as input signals and then outputting these signals as an output signal; and smoothing means (10) for smoothing and outputting the output of the analog switch.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an input device having an electrostatic sensor, and more particularly to an input device having an electrostatic sensor that detects electrostatic capacitance generated by approaching or touching a part of a human body such as a hand or a finger, and outputs an electric signal. Background technique [0002] Figure 6 A part of a general electrostatic sensor is shown, (A) is a plan view of the electrostatic sensor, and (B) is a diagram showing an output signal of the electrostatic sensor. [0003] Such as Figure 6 As shown in (A), this electrostatic sensor 50 has an electrode 51 and an electrode 52 for detecting electrostatic capacitance. The surface of above-mentioned electrode 51 and electrode 52 is covered with insulating sheet, but in Figure 6 (A) The above insulating sheet is omitted. [0004] A predetermined voltage is applied to the electrodes 51, 52, and when the movable body H such as a finger or input pen is...
