Problems solved by technology

[0008] The write clock generator 40 of the known fixed angular velocity optical disk drive uses the time data synchronization signal 41 as a reference, and uses the technology of phase-lock loop (PLL) to lock the secondary write data synchronization signal 42 and the write clock 43 , but the time data synchronous signal 41 is a low-frequency signal, for example, in the case of double speed, the time data synchronous signal 41 is 75 Hz (Hertz), so it takes a long time for phase comparison and phase comparison during the signal locking process The frequency adjustment also causes the writing clock 43 to take a while to reach a stable state, so it affects the efficiency and stability of burning data in the optical disc drive

Embodiment Construction

[0020] Please refer to FIG. 5 . FIG. 5 is a functional block diagram of the writing clock generator 80 of the fixed angular velocity optical disk drive of the present invention. The present invention utilizes the wobble signal 82 on the disc to generate the write clock 84 . The write clock generator 80 can be divided into several functional blocks, including a reference clock generator 88 for generating a reference clock 86, a counter 90, a digital averager 92 for generating an average, and a plurality of signal frequency generators for changing the frequency of the signal. Frequency dividers (dividers) 94, 96, 98, 100, a plurality of phase comparators 102, 104 for comparing signal phase relationships, low-pass filters 106, voltage-controlled oscillators for generating specific frequency signals according to input voltages (voltage controlled oscillator, VCO) 108, and a control circuit 110 for controlling the operation of the frequency divider 94.

Abstract

The optical disk machine comprises a counter and a phase comparator. The counter counts the swinging clock based on the reference clock to generate the count value. The phase comparator compares the phases between the time data synchronous signal and the write is synchronous signal to generate the adjustment value. The corrected value is generated based on the adjustment value and the count value. Also, the reference write in clock is generated based on the corrected value and the reference clock. The write in synchronous signal is adjusted through the reference write in clock. Finally, with the reference between the time data synchronous signal and the write in synchronous signal being compared, if their phase reference is smaller than presetting value, then, the reference write in clock is as the write in clock.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention provides a method for generating a writing clock in a fixed-angular-velocity optical disk drive, especially a method for generating a writing clock in a fixed-angular-velocity optical disk drive using a wobble signal. Background technique [0002] For companies or individuals, file management or storage is often an important task. In the past, since most documents were printed or written on paper products, when the number of documents was large, it was easy to cause inconvenience to users no matter in terms of volume or weight. Now with the development of computer technology, digital data is widely used and stored in computer storage media. In order to allow users to store digital data more conveniently, various data storage devices have also appeared one after another, such as compactdisk recorder as an example. The optical disc burner makes full use of the characteristics of low cost, small size and large capacity of optical discs to ...
