Problems solved by technology

[0003] At present, the application of magnesium alloy is mainly die casting, which faces two major problems: one is that it is difficult to die cast large components due to the limitation of die casting machine tonnage and metal fluidity
Second, the strength, fracture strain, fatigue performance and corrosion resistance of die castings are difficult to meet the requirements of aviation, communication and automobile industries, which restricts the development of magnesium alloys
[0006] For deformation heat treatment, it includes large deformation warm rolling and equal channel deformation warm rolling technology. The disadvantage of these methods is that they must undergo multiple heat treatments and large deformation deformation, which is not only complicated in process, but also difficult to control. Grain coarsening often leads to process failure

Abstract

The present invention is the preparation process of deformed magnesium alloy with superfine grain structure. The present invention features the solid solution treatment of magnesium alloy at 330-370 deg.c for 1-2 hr; aging at 130-160 deg.c for 8-10 hr; and final once isothermal deformation at 330-370 deg.c to result in a deformation amount over or equal to 75%. Regulating the deformation temperature to the solid solution temperature zone makes it possible to obtain the great deformation amount in once process and this avoid the negative effect on the crystal grain growth caused by multiple softening treatments.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to the magnesium alloy forming technology, and in particular provides a preparation method of a deformed magnesium alloy with superfine grain structure and thus superplasticity. Background technique: [0002] Due to its light weight and high specific strength, magnesium alloy can be widely used in aerospace, aviation, communication, automobile and other fields. To this end, the U.S. Department of Energy has invested a huge amount of money to support the Argonne National Laboratory to conduct feasibility assessment research on wrought magnesium alloys to replace aluminum and steel. As part of the 2000 high-tech development plan, Germany invested 25 million marks in the MADICA development project to solve forward-looking and key research issues in the development and application of magnesium alloys, so as to accelerate the use of magnesium alloys in the fields of computers, aviation, communications and automobiles Applications.
