The invention provides a method for enhancing co-digestion acid production of kitchen waste and activated sludge by utilizing freezing temperature pretreatment for the first time. The activity among microorganisms in the fermentation process can be improved by selecting a proper temperature, and the sludge fermentation efficiency is improved. The EPS structure can be cracked at high temperature to release more organic matters into a liquid phase, but the high temperature can kill more digestive bacteria to influence the activity of enzymes in microorganisms, so that the sludge fermentation process is inhibited. The fermentation under the high-temperature condition belongs to butyric acid type fermentation and is mainly used for generating more butyric acid; compared with the prior art, the medium-temperature condition is more beneficial to sludge fermentation and acid production, most fermentation microorganisms are suitable for survival under the medium-temperature condition, the medium-temperature condition can accelerate the process of converting butyric acid into other acids, and the fermentation under the medium-temperature condition belongs to mixed acid type fermentation so as to mainly generate mixed acid.
