Abstract

The invention discloses an acoustic detection system and method for chronic leakage of a water supply pipeline. The system comprises a first sound wave sensor and a second sound wave sensor which are respectively arranged on the water supply pipeline at two ends of a leakage point to be detected; a sound wave data acquisition card which is electrically connected with the first sound wave sensor and the second sound wave sensor; and a sound wave data processing device which is in communication connection with the sound wave data acquisition card, can receive two groups of sound wave signals, acquired by the sound wave data acquisition card through the first sound wave sensor and the second sound wave sensor, of the water supply pipeline at the two ends of the to-be-detected leakage point, performs de-noising processing on the two groups of sound wave signals to obtain two groups of leakage sound wave signals, and performs cross-correlation delay estimation processing and positioning on the two groups of leakage sound wave signals to obtain the position of a leakage point on the water supply pipeline. The hardware of the system is simplified, the actual application range of acoustic leakage detection is expanded, low-pressure and small-flow chronic leakage can be found in time and positioned accurately, market requirements are met, the safety of drinking water is guaranteed, and the waste of water resources is reduced.
