Embodiment 1

[0028] Research objects: Select 70 patients with moderate and severe periodontitis and coronary heart disease in outpatient clinics in southern Tibet, Gansu, from January 2018 to June 2019, and randomly divide them into two groups (periodontal treatment group and control group). Group 35 cases, aged 55-69 years. Average age (58±7.5), all patients received a comprehensive physical examination and signed informed consent and registered relevant information.

[0029] Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria

[0030] Inclusion criteria: moderate to severe periodontitis patients with coronary heart disease.

[0031] 1) Diagnostic criteria for coronary heart disease: All patients with periodontitis and coronary heart disease were diagnosed with at least one major coronary artery lesion by coronary angiography or had a history of myocardial infarction.

[0032] 2) Diagnostic criteria for moderate and severe periodontitis: moderate: periodontal pocket ≤ 6mm, attachment loss 3-4mm, X-ray fil...

Embodiment 2

[0046] The research objects, inclusion and exclusion criteria, periodontal treatment methods, and statistical processing are all the same as in Example 1. After two months of periodontal treatment, the patients in the treatment group and the control group were respectively extracted blood from the median cubital vein and gingival crevicular fluid on an empty stomach in the morning. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa) was used to detect the levels of ICAM1 and VCAM1 endothelial functions in blood and gingival crevicular fluid respectively (the Elisa kit used was purchased from Taiwan Arigo Company), and all operations were carried out under standard conditions and according to the kit instructions to operate. The result is as image 3 shown by image 3 It can be seen that the levels of ICAM1 (intercellular adhesion molecule 1) and VCAM1 (vascular cell adhesion molecule 1) in the blood and gingival crevicular fluid of the periodontal treatment group were significantly lo...

Embodiment 3

[0048] The research objects, inclusion and exclusion criteria, periodontal treatment methods, and statistical processing are all the same as in Example 1. After two months of periodontal treatment, the patients in the treatment group and the control group were respectively drawn blood from the median cubital vein on an empty stomach in the morning. The levels of TC (total cholesterol), TG (triglyceride), HDL-C (high-density lipoprotein) and LDL-C (low-density lipoprotein) in fasting venous blood were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa). (The Elisa kit used was purchased from Taiwan Arigo Company), all operations were carried out under standard conditions, and were operated according to the instructions of the kit. The results are shown in Table 1.

Abstract

The invention provides research on factors such as OSM, tPA, PAI-2 and CRP in bodies of periodontal disease with coronary heart disease of Gannan Tibetan population in Gansu Province, and belongs to the technical field of coronary heart disease treatment and prevention. By researching changes of endothelial functions, proinflammatory factor levels and blood lipid indexes of patients suffering from periodontitis with coronary heart disease in Gannan Tibetan areas before and after periodontal treatment, the invention discovers that periodontal treatment can reduce the proinflammatory factor levels and cardiovascular risk marker levels of the patients suffering from moderate and severe periodontitis with coronary heart disease, and is beneficial to prevention of coronary heart disease; and moreover, chronic periodontitis may be a dangerous factor for occurrence and development of coronary heart disease. The invention provides a reference basis for formulation and implementation of prevention and treatment strategies of coronary heart disease.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of treatment and prevention of coronary heart disease, and in particular relates to an application of periodontal treatment in reducing the risk of coronary heart disease. Background technique [0002] Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading cause of death in the world. Efforts to identify markers of inflammation that contribute to cardiovascular events have been the focus of research efforts over the past few years aimed at identifying more effective therapeutic and preventive strategies. Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of periodontal supporting tissues such as gingiva, alveolar bone, cementum and periodontal ligament caused by microorganisms in dental plaque. Studies have pointed out that periodontitis is not only a disease of periodontal tissue, but also related to diseases of various systems in the body. Periodontitis is considered to be a possible risk factor for cardiovascular di...
