Problems solved by technology

Therefore, the leakage signal measured by this method may be inconsistent with the leakage signal when the radar is actually working, resulting in false detection and other situations.
Moreover, since the FOD radar basically works continuously around the clock, it is unrealistic to detect the leakage signal in the microwave anechoic chamber in advance.

Embodiment

[0088] In this embodiment, the measured distance of the FOD target is 35m. The radar adopts the sawtooth wave modulation method, and the starting frequency of the transmitted signal is f 0 =76GHz, frequency modulation bandwidth B=600MHz, frequency modulation period T m = 1ms, tuning rate ADC sampling rate f s = 5MHz, the number of sampling points in a complete radar modulation cycle is N T =f s × T m =5000, the number of sampling data points of the radar output signal uploaded to the host computer at one time is N s = 2 16 =65536, the window function length (ie FFT length) is spectral resolution The corresponding distance resolution is Where c represents the speed of light, and the number of cycles used to obtain the mean value E of the beat signal is n e =10.

[0089] Taking the first detection as an example, Figure 6 It shows the time-domain image of 65536 sampling data of the continuous radar output signal uploaded to the host computer in a single time. ...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar signal processing, and discloses a self-adaptive elimination method of an FMCW foreign matter detection radar leakage signal. The method comprises the following steps: (1) segmenting a continuous radar intermediate frequency digital signal into signal segments in a plurality of complete modulation periods; (2) performing phase-coherent accumulation on the signal segments in multiple periods; (3) performing digital filtering on the coherent signals; (4) performing FFT operation on the filtered signal, and calculating the length of a sliding window according to the spectrum peak frequency; (5) solving a sliding average value of the filtered signal to obtain a leakage signal, and temporarily storing the leakage signal; (6) resolving a beat signal according to the temporarily stored leakage signal to complete leakage elimination; (7) judging whether the mean value of the beat signals exceeds a thresholdvalue or not so as to determine whether to restart the process of resolving the leakage signals or not; and (8) using the beat signal for FOD detection through a window function. According to the invention, no additional hardware is needed, leakage signals can be adaptively eliminated in real time, and the radar can be supported to realize all-weather accurate foreign matter detection work.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an adaptive elimination method of a leakage signal in a frequency modulated continuous wave (English abbreviation: FMCW) radar applied to foreign matter detection, and belongs to the field of FMCW radar signal processing. Background technique [0002] In the field of radar detection, foreign object (Foreign objects debris, FOD) detection generally refers to the airport's detection of debris, screws and other objects that threaten flight safety on the runway. In the last century, FOD detection mainly relied on manual inspection of foreign objects at the airport, which greatly affected the airport commuting volume, and the detection effect was not high. In 2000, after the accident of the Air France Concorde due to foreign objects, various research institutions began to pay attention to the development of related technologies in the field of FOD detection. The current solution for FOD detection mainly relies on millimeter-wave ra...
