According to the salvianic acidA, the number of cartilage cells can be remarkably increased, the cartilage surface is relatively smooth, and expression of inflammatory factors infibroblast-like synovial cells in lumbar facet joints is reduced; the apoptosis of soft osteosarcoma cells SW1353 induced by TNF-alpha is inhibited, and the inflammatory response of primary fibroblast-like synovial cells stimulated by TNF-alpha is relieved; besides, salvianic acidA can promote degradation of RIP1 protein by up-regulating expression of TRIP in the lumbar facet joint, so that cartilage cell apoptosis mediated by a TNFR1 pathway in cartilage cells and inflammatory response mediated by an NF-kB pathway in fibroblast-like synovial cells are inhibited, and therefore, the salvianicacidA plays a synergistic intervention role to relieve lumbar facet joint osteoarthritis (LFJOA).
