An inflammation-diminishing and whitening oral care agent comprises, by weight, 0.5-2 parts of chondrus ocellatus, 1.5-4.5 parts of sodium lauroyl sarcosine, 1.0-3.0 parts of lauryl sodium sulfate, 28-40 parts of moisturizing agent, 0.2-0.5 part of sweetening agent, 0.3-0.7 part of thickener, 30-50 parts of abrasive, 10-25 parts of deionized water, 7-10 parts of marigold and 2-6 parts of saffron crocus extract, and the abrasive is formed by compounding longan kernel powder and humifuse enphorbia herb powder. The abrasive formed by compounding the longan kernel powder and the humifuse enphorbiaherb powder can effectively expel tooth dirt and can avoid gingival bleeding caused by friction; adding of new hemostatic ingredients is not needed, so that production cost of the oral care agent islowered.
