The wind speed and direction sensor, the monitoring centerand the plurality of wireless acceleration sensors are connected with the measurement and analysis module. The wireless acceleration sensors are installed at 15 key positions of the transmission tower, and are used to measure the vibration acceleration at these positions. The real-time monitoring of the deformation of the transmission line tower material is realized, guarantee is provided for thesafe operation of a transmission line, and the safety hazards of the operation of the tower are reduced. The invention also discloses an online monitoring method for deformation of a transmission line tower material, the method including firstly performing system installation and arrangement, then carrying out data acquisition and pre-processing, next, further analyzing and processing the pre-processed data in the monitoring center, and determining whether the state of the tower structure is normal according to the change of the obtained modal parameters.
