Abstract

Disclosed are a stably suspended premixed magnesium-phosphate-based dental filling material and the use thereof. Magnesium oxide and at least one phosphate, which act as a main phase, at least one non-aqueous phase solvent, which is miscible with water, and at least one radiation-resistant material are used to prepare a dental filling material which can be injected, wherein the filling material may also comprise at least one type of bioglass. Under sealed conditions, the material is kept as a fluid, and is hydrated, solidified and hardened after same has been filled in a tooth and comes into contact with a physiological fluid. Making use of the good biocompatibility and biological activity of a magnesium-phosphate-based material, same is prepared into a stably suspended premixed magnesium-phosphate-based dental filling material, which can be used as a filling material in fields such as pulp capping, root canal therapy and dental repair.
