The method comprises the steps of taking out a core, wiping off sealing liquid on the surface of the core, and removing the surface part, impregnated by the sealing liquid, of the core; tightly wrapping the core of the above step with plastic wrap; wrapping the plastic wrap with tin foil, and wrapping the tin foil tightly with polytetrafluoroethylene; loading an obtained sample into a heat-insulating cotton bag, and sealing for tightening; adding the sample of step D into thawed paraffin solution, taking out after a first preset time, and soaking in cold water; after a second preset time, taking out the sample from the cold water, and judging whether wax seal is complete; if yes, putting the samplein a sample bag. The method of the invention is suitable for long-range transportation and long-term preservation of samples and is applicable to the preservation of low-porosity low-permeability cores of mud shale, siltstone and the like.
