Abstract

The invention relates to a microbial gel ball embedded with thermophilic denitrifying bacteria as well as a preparation method thereof. The microbial gel ball comprises the following components with the weight adding proportion: an embedding agent solution to a crosslinking agent to denitrifying bacteria-containing microorganisms is (3-4):(1-2):(2-3). The preparation method comprises the followingsteps: preparing the embedding agent solution, heating and melting the embedding agent solution, cooling, adding the denitrifying bacteria-containing microorganisms into the cooled embedding agent, mixing, adding the crosslinking agent dropwise to form a ball, performing cold storage until hardening, and washing out the crosslinking agent on the surface to prepare a product. The density of the microbial gel ball is increased by adding reduced iron powder and the settling performance is improved; meanwhile, chemical reaction is conducted by utilizing the reducibility of the iron powder and thedenitrification efficiency is improved. The microbial gel ball has higher activity and higher efficiency under the condition of low temperature; and the active sludge efficiency of the embedded microbial gel ball is higher than that of the non-embedded microbial gel ball with the equal biomass, and the biomass required by the embedded microbial gel ball is less than that of the non-embedded microbial gel ball under the condition of equal removing efficiency.
