Abstract

A paper humidifier and an image forming system are provided and can inhibit excessive supply of water so as to achieve proper humidification. A first humidifying unit (210A) adopts a structure that anintermediate roller (212A) is provided between a suction roller (211A) and a water supply roller (213A). The intermediate roller (212A) is configured in a manner that the intermediate roller is located above a liquid level of the water stored in a water reservoir (216A), and a kneading part (N1) between the intermediate roller (212A) and the suction roller (211A) is above the water reservoir (216A). In the suction roller (211A), an outer peripheral surface of the roller, which rises out of the water stored in the water reservoir (216A), rotates in a direction away from the water supply roller(213A).
