Problems solved by technology

At present, there is no report on the sensitivity of different serotypes of echoviruses to the oncolytic activity of tumor cells. The present invention attempts to discover the specificity of different serotypes of echoviruses in treating tumors through research, so as to provide more anti-tumor drug regimens. Abstract

The invention discloses antitumor application of echo viruses used as oncolytic viruses. The antitumor application particularly includes application of the echo viruses ECHO1, ECHO3, ECHO4, ECHO5, ECHO6, ECHO7, ECHO9, ECHO11 and ECHO25 to lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer and rhabdomyoma. The antitumor application has the advantages that different levels of oncolytic activity of the different echo viruses for different types of tumor cells are proved, and accordingly the fact that the echo viruses can be used for specifically treating tumor is prompted.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biomedicine and relates to the application of echovirus as an oncolytic virus in anti-tumor. Background technique [0002] Oncolytic viruses are a type of virus that tends to infect tumor cells, and can multiply in large numbers in tumor cells, eventually causing tumor cells to lyse, break up, and die. Since the first genetically engineered oncolytic virus was reported in 1991, a variety of oncolytic viruses have entered clinical trials in the following 20 years. The first oncolytic virus drug Ankerui (recombinant human adenovirus type 5 H101) was approved by the China Food and Drug Administration in 2005. It is used in combination with chemotherapy for advanced refractory nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Amgen's oncolytic virus product T-Vec was approved by the US FDA in October 2015, and was approved by the EU CHMP in December of the same year for the treatment of advanced inoperable melanoma. The launch of T-Vec furt...
