The present invention discloses a method for financial transaction settlement. The method comprises the following steps that: financial transactions are extracted from a financial data system and are sent to a financial server sequentially, wherein the financial server comprises a financial memory and a financial processor; the financial transactions are sequentially sent to a financial settlement system so as to be subjected to settlement operation, and corresponding financial settlement report files can be generated; and the financial transactions and the financial settlement report files thereof are sent to a financial terminal for sorting the financial transactions and the financial settlement report files, and corresponding error feedback files and missing feedback files which are used for requesting the financial settlement system to perform retransmission are generated according to financial settlement report files where errors occur or missing content exists. According to the method, the financial transactions are extracted intelligently, so that financial settlement can be performed; the accuracy of the financial transaction settlement can be greatly improved through the feedback of the error feedback files and missing feedback files; the updating and maintenance of financial statuses can be facilitated; and operability is high.
