The method includes: acquiring breath sound signals during sleeping of a subject; packing signal data and wirelessly transmitting; drawing expiratory and inspiratory phase diagrams, marking starting and ending points of expiratory and inspiratory phase in each time, and judging whether sleep apnea happens or not; converting the expiratory and inspiratory phase diagrams with sleep apnea into corresponding average power spectrums, and determining sleep apnea characteristics; judging a sleep breathing state, and feeding back sleep apnea monitoring information. In implementation of the embodiment, due to adoption of the method for judging the sleep breathing state through analysis of lung breath sounds, inaccuracy in snore detection and uncleanness and uncomfortableness caused by a mask adopted for direct acquisition of the breath sounds are avoided; influences in monitoring under a sleeping state of a user are reduced, and the user can quickly and accurately know own daily sleep state and is provided with some initial references.
