The method comprises the steps of establishing a corresponding virtual container for each data channel through adoption of a lightweight virtualization container technology; establishing a receiving network bridge device and a sending network bridge device in each virtual container; and binding the receiving network bridge device with corresponding receiving physical network ports and binding the sending network bridge devices with corresponding sending network bridge physical network ports. The method disclosed by the invention is applicable to insulation of certain particular applications; when the method is operated, the virtual containers are mounted and the virtual containers are established and started through utilization of related commands, thereby providing a virtual performance environment for user applications. According to the method, each data channel interface can be flexibly controlled out of the virtual containers; the data channels of a communication device can be expanded very conveniently and the transmission efficiency of the communication device is clearly improved. The method also can be widely applied to various communication devices in which data transmission capacities of multi-data channels need to be expanded.
