Abstract

The invention discloses a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer modified material. The styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer modified material comprises 60 to 80 parts of a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, 20 to 40 parts of polystyrene and 2 to 5 parts of nano montmorillonite. According to the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer modified material, the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer is utilized as a matrix, and lots of advantages like relatively high tensile strength, tear strength and elongation at break, good low temperature resistance and breathability resistance, and unique wet skid resistance and high elasticity of an SBS material are sufficiently exerted; polystyrene is added to modify SBS, the defects that the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer is heat-labile and is liable to deform are overcome, insulativity, mechanical property and processability of the material are improved, and the production cost is increased; and inorganic particles MMT are added to modify the material, so that comprehensive physical properties like dispersing performance, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, dimensional stability and gas barrier property of the material are improved.
