Abstract

The invention provides a treatment method for cones of keteleeria cyclolepis. The treatment method comprises the following steps: kneading the cones on wet cloth to clean up impurities at first, and then spreading the impurity-free cones on an indoor floor for 10 hours' pre-drying; then, covering the pre-heated cones with a layer of straw, and pouring lime water every 12-24 hours for 48 hours' stack retting; putting the cones subjected to the stack retting into a constant-temperature air dry oven at a spreading thickness of 10-15 cm for 48-72 hours' drying; in the drying process, turning over the cones every 2-4 hours; after the cones are dried and cracked, putting the cracked cones into a bamboo sieve, and gently beating the cracked cones with a wood stick till seeds completely jump out of the cracked cones; collecting and kneading the seeds to remove seed wings; and after the sieving, filling a sack with the treated seeds, and placing the sack at a ventilated place for drying. The treatment method provided by the invention is prevented from being affected by the climate; the cone cracking time is short, that is, the cones can be neatly cracked within about 5 days; the seed yield can reach up to 88.9% and the seed germination rate is 96.9-98.1%; and the efficiency of treatment of the cones of keteleeria cyclolepis and the seed quality can be remarkably improved.
