Abstract

The invention relates to a high-heat conductivity PBT composite material and a preparation method thereof. The composite material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60-80 parts of PBT, 8-12 parts of a heat conduction filler, 20-30 parts of calcium sulfate whiskers, 0.1-0.5 part of an antioxidant and 0.1-0.3 part of a lubricant, wherein the heat conduction filler is treated magnesium oxide. After MgO is subjected to surface treatment, the dispersity of the MgO in a PBT resin matrix is improved, the surface activation energy of the MgO is reduced, adhesion between the MgO and the PBT resin matrix is enhanced, interfacial adhesion between the filler and the resin matrix is improved, the heat resistance at the interface is reduced, and a heat conductivity coefficient of the composite material is increased.
