The mechanical drive unit and the hydraulic clamping unit are connected with the electric control box. The system can overcome down-hole pressure to place a cable down in a well. In the process of cable placing, the tension of a logging cable can be observed in real time, and whether an instrument connected to the cable or the cable is blocked or whether the cable is still wound on an oil pipe can be judged according to the change in tension of the cable.
