The recombined bamboo sheet is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of bamboo strip or bamboo bundle, 4-20 parts of modified unsaturated polyester resin, 0.01-3 parts of surface treating agent and 0.5-2 parts of water proofing agent. The bamboo strip or bamboo bundle surface is treated, and the modified unsaturated polyester resin is used as an adhesive to prepare the light-color formaldehyde-free recombined bamboo sheet. The produced recombined bamboo sheet is free of formaldehyde, and has the advantages of favorable water resistance, high mechanical properties and favorable paint adhesiveness.
